Important meeting
Today we met with representatives of the Regional Center for Social Policy in Poznań to engage in cooperation in supporting foster care proteges who are becoming independent. Everyone sees the needs of these young people on the verge of adulthood and the answer is our original, pilot project Under Wings. We are glad that we could tell you about our solution. No decisions have been made, but we are in contact with the possibility of cooperation in the future.
The organization has a database of tools for support and preparation for independent living outside the institution. The innovative solution of our project is the individual support of each project participant by a mentor who will support the young person on this path by building relationships and trust. We work with a group of people who, as volunteers, are ready to take on this task.
And here as Bread of Life and ROPS we have a beautiful potential to complement each other!
